Hi loves! Today’s review is about Diamond glow powders from www.artistcouture.com made by Angel Merino from instagram ….. He is a famous celebrity makeup artist who is all about that glowy skin. Recently he released six shades of highlighters which I managed to grab five of them. If you are a highlighter junkie like me these babies are a must HAVE! Well at least some of them.
The diamond glow powders come in a pot containing 6 gm amount of product its a lot for the price of $26.99 you will never run out of them. These highlighters are so finely milled like powder. You can use them on the eyes face lips and body. Everywhere!
They contain: Iron Oxide Red, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Carmine
1. MERMAID FANTASY This is my favorite highlighter from the line. It looks white in the pot but when applied on the skin it has a beautiful high glow of turquoise with a hint of lime iridescence to it. Think of a mermaid this color is a true mermaid! I think it will suit any skin tone. A word of caution when applying these highlighter be very light hand as you only need a tiny amount. A little goes a long way.
2. GOLD DIGGER This is my second favorite. This powder packs a high glow and light gold iridescence. I think it will look good amazing on light skin tone just because its a light gold iridescence. I would apply this during the day time for that natural glow.
3. YASS This highlighter packs a subtle glow and light pink iridescence. For people who like a subtle glow on skin this baby is for you. It doesn’t pack on too much pigmentation. A little mix in you lip gloss for that pinky shine will look great.
4. CONCEITED This powder packs a high rose gold iridescence to the skin. It has gold reflects which look so gorgeous when picture is taken out of focus. I think people with dark skin will definitely love this highlighter. It looks bronzed with gold reflects.
5. SUPERNOVA This is a limited edition, out of all this color has such a fine powder texture unbelievable. It looks pink in the pot but it packs a high glow and lavender blue iridescence. I don’t see myself using this as a highlighter since the lavender glow on my skin is not a normal skin glow. Maybe for a costume makeup. (Eyes rolling) or mix it up with a gloss even on the eyes for inner corner pop of color. On a black base this highlighter will give a beautiful lavender smokey look.
Would you like to sell me your supernova since it’s not something you think you’d use? Please email me at bemarvelous@icloud.com if you’re willing. Thanks 🙂
